WhiteBeard News Suite supports web and mobile app analytics tracking, including content attribution, scroll depth, audio/video engagement, and payment events.

News Suite installations are migrating from Matomo to OpenPanel as the analytics backend. Pick the guide that matches your installation:

• OpenPanel Setup — the current standard for new installations, and the target for installations migrating off Matomo. Covers content attribution, scroll depth, audio, video, and payment events.
• Matomo Setup — for existing installations that have not yet migrated to OpenPanel. Covers the same event categories using Matomo’s data layer.

If you’re setting up analytics for the first time, use the OpenPanel guide. If you’re planning a migration from an existing Matomo integration, both guides document equivalent events so you can map one to the other.
